Getting your RFQ details and drawings back to you accurately and on time will depend in part on the information that you are able to provide us.
So that we can give you a comprehensive quotation, we ideally need the following information:-
Bill of Materials (BOM) with as much detail as possible e.g. manufacturers part numbers, quantity used, alternatives etc in electronic format (e.g. Excel)
- Drawings including those for bespoke items
- Scope of work
- Preferred packaging / kitting instructions
- Approved Vendor List with contact details
- Product Samples
- Volume requirements
- Batch sizes
- Timescales
- Delivery instructions
The Ideal format for a BOM is Excel:-
- Full component description in one cell (not split over several columns)
- Manufacturers Name
- Manufacturers Part Number
- Customer Part Number
- Quantity Required
- Alternative Manufacturer (If available)
- Alternative Manufacturers Part Number (If available)
- Anything else you think would be useful for us to know
