Tooling
CHH place great emphasis on how products are made and assembled with a view to how they this can be made more effectively and efficiently. By listening to our customers and staff and by watching how products are made CHH are able to provide valuable feedback to you about how we can improve the production process and thereby saving valuable time and money.
Some examples of tooling projects we have undertaken are:-
- CHH designed a tool which enabled us to get the wires on a cable closer to the connector, which increased the speed of the signal from 125Mhz to 200Mhz, thus increasing its life for a further 4 years.
- New bespoke tools and jigs were developed to hold a safety critical cable in place so that potting materials could be easily added and so that the product could undergo air pressure testing.
